The Crochet Journey

Suzy is a lifelong crochet, first picking up the hook at age 7. For years, she could crochet rectangles and would make the occasional scarf in between dabbling in different crafts until in 2019, while scrolling images of crochet creations on Pinterest at her desk job, she had the realization that if she learns to make different shapes, she could make anything. She quickly caught on to the fundamentals and has been crocheting cozy, glamorous clothes for The Girls ever since.

Show, Don’t Tell is typically sold in-person at festivals and markets, but sometimes you will find Show, Don’t Tell pieces available online via Instagram or Etsy.

In 2022, Suzy began teaching crochet workshops with People First Tourism in Raleigh and private lessons at Yarns, Etc. in Chapel Hill. She believes that if you can learn the fundamentals, you can create anything, and she is happy to show you how.
